About Craig Engineering Total Access Systems Ltd.

From its inauguration to the present date, the Company has specialised in the design, manufacture, installation, test, commission and maintenance, of permanently installed access equipment, offering clients a complete Building Maintenance Equipment package.

Access products available, range from simple access steps, 'cat' / companion ladders and staircases; to full Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), i.e. suspended access systems, roof trolleys, gantries, travelling ladders, davits and mono-rail / cradle access systems.

The company also specialises in the scheme design, equipment supply, installation and maintenance of proprietary fall protection equipment for use in fall containment, fall restraint, work positioning, fall arrest and rope access systems.

Equipment is designed specifically to meet client requirements, in accordance with current EU & British Standards, Statutory Regulations and compliance with current EC Machinery Directives.

Whilst focusing on turnkey construction access engineering projects, Craig Engineering also offer a general engineering design and fabrication service, with specific emphasis on fabrications in aluminium; together with fabrications in steel and stainless steel. The Company employs skilled (time served) fabricator/welders, approved to current approved British Standard Welding Procedures.

Although the Company’s design team is suitably qualified, and has some 35 years design experience within the field of access engineering, it employs the associated services of independent chartered structural/civil engineering consultants; to check and endorse all critical aspects of design, therefore providing Professional Indemnity cover for all bespoke designed and manufactured products.
