Due to the safety critical nature of the sector we work within, we have always been focused on ensuring product safety, and the high level of quality assurance that this demands. Our Engineers deliver projects with the upmost professionalism, ensuring the client is the central focus throughout the process, by utilising excellent communication skills and using a proactive project management approach throughout.
Our projects are managed through a set of quality procedures, such as Inspection and Test Plans or Work Method Statements. Factory and Site Acceptance Tests are carried out as required, and upon completion, we provide equipment handover to the client through ‘hands-on’ user instruction, backed up by O&M manuals and appropriate certification.
From 1st July 2014 all structural fabrications must meet the harmonised European Standard BS EN 1090 and carry the CE mark. Craig Engineering increased its investment in both personnel and Quality Control Systems, to ensure that it achieved accreditation accordingly, and we continue to develop and improve our quality procedures and processes to this day; all of which are assessed annually, by an independent consultant.
CE certification provides evidence of a suitable Factory Production Control (FPC) System, which ensures traceability of materials and processes from source, through the fabrication process, and finally on to the release of goods.
Craig Engineering can supply in-house aluminium and steel fabrications up to and including, Execution Class 3.
